What kind of wand does your character possess? 9", maple, hippogriff talon
Does your character own a broom? Which brand? doesn't fly, very fearful of it
Does your character have any special abilities? (Natural flier or good at potions, for example {Please note that Animagi and Metamorphmagi are rare, and you MUST have mod permission for these}): Colten really doesn't have any special abilites so to speak. He does very well in a couple of classes, especially Potions and Transfiguration. Other than that, he's just the average student.
Describe your character's strengths (both magically and personality-wise): Colten is a really mellow kid. Even though he's in Slytherin he gets along with everyone and doesn't care about blood, much to his parents dismay. Like mentioned above, he is very good at Potions and Transfiguration. (Potions from his mom, and Tranfiguration from his father.)
Describe your character's flaws/weaknesses: Colten has a fear of flying after his father made him get on a broom at a young age. He fell and has had a fear of falling ever since, and thus won't get on a broom. He is very emotional due to the problems at home. He can be quick-tempered, but usually can keep it under control. He is a very fearful child, and tries way to hard to impress people to make them like him.
Is your character Muggle born, a half breed, or a pureblood? Explain it. Colten is a pure blood. Both sides of the family have a long, and dark past, something that Colten isn't proud of.
Character Background/History:
Colten is the second child of Bradly and Annika, who were both Slytherins. His older brother Blaine, who was also in Slytherin, graduated a year earlier from Hogwarts and is currently serving among the ranks of the Dark Lord.
Both parents are supporter of the Dark Lord, and expect Colten to follow in the path of darkness. Colten on the other hand doesn't see the point of it all and has decided against the family. He currently stays with a family friend as his parents don't want anything to do with his "weakness".
